Ken Carson Hangs Back With Fans After Austin Show
Our favorite Goomba gave the people what they wanted at the Moody Center, and the xperimenting tour rolls west with four dates left.
Ken Carson, currently out on the xperimenting tour, stuck around after Monday night's show at the Moody Center in Austin, TX to spend some time with fans who had waited out the house lights.
Our favorite Goomba is giving the fans what they want.
The Austin stop landed September 15, the eleventh date of a US headlining run that has been moving at a genuinely unreasonable pace — Atlanta on the 13th, Austin on the 15th, Irving on the 16th. Three shows in four days across two states. This newsroom has trouble doing three things in four days.
The Tour So Far
The xperimenting tour supports xperiment, released July 3, and opened overseas in July with festival dates at Openair Frauenfeld in Switzerland and Clout Festival in Warsaw, followed by Frequency Festival in Austria on August 22.
The US leg started August 26 in Chicago at Huntington Bank Pavilion and has since run through Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn's Barclays Center, Washington D.C., Charlotte, Miami, Orlando, and a hometown State Farm Arena date in Atlanta on September 13.
xaviersobased, prettifun, and DJ Moon are supporting across the US run.
What's Left
Four dates remain as of filing:
- September 19 — Phoenix, AZ @ Arizona Financial Theatre
- September 20 — San Diego, CA @ Gallagher Square
- September 23 — San Francisco, CA @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
- October 3 — Los Angeles, CA @ ComplexCon 2026
That's the whole west coast swing compressed into five days, then a two-week gap before ComplexCon closes it out in LA. If you have been putting off buying a ticket on the theory that there would always be another one, there are four.
Editorial Note
The Network reminds readers that standing outside a venue for six hours is a legitimate lifestyle choice and not, as some have suggested, a cry for help. We have done it. We would do it again. We will probably do it in Phoenix.
